Students were tasked with imagining a new museum, then creating a versatile brand. My brand was the Ghost Museum, a high-tech take on a historical and spooky subject. The Ghost Museum exists to "encourage presence of mind and presence of spirits."
The type-based mark is made to look like a glitch, a reference to pop culture's tendency to show spirits interacting with screens. This speaks to the museum's use of technology in their exhibits. This effect is mimiced through a black bar motif, along with images that were edited in their source code to create actual glitches.
